    Super Scientist Competition   Dear Parents   In Week 5,  th e Year One children have been invited to present a  short science experiment  to their peers. Mathopoly - like monopoly, but with math challenges. We loved learning this math game.   Blog week   4  We  are well underway with our learning in  T erm  2.  It is encouraging to see many children  farewelling  their  parents with  such  confidence. As we near the middle of the year ,   we encourage each  child  to arrive  at school with a polite greeting to  their teachers, as well as managing their own belongings such as bag, folder and water bottle.  Allowing children to complete this simple morning routine will aid in building their independence and confidence.  Year one    Literacy  In  writing this  term we are having a wonderful time continuing to learn about narratives and the correct st ructure to follow.
